Feds Sue VW For Billions

One can argue that the diesel emission standards were too high and too soon

But once into law and ignored, VW, a profitable company, may be brought to ruin

In the first legal shot, the feds have sued VW in federal district court

For installing software to valid emission test reports on their diesels abort

The second shot will be the class action suits of the buyers whose resale value is down the tank

Billions upon billions of dollars in fines and judgments may break this company’s bank

The third shot will be the climate change mantra of this DOJ to file criminal complaints

Against those engineers and executives trying to sell more cars and definitely not saints

Lost in the disappearance of a company and all the jobs associated therewith

Is the belief that the EPA used a reasoned cost benefit analysis which is a total myth

We all want clean air and maybe there is growing evidence of manmade climate change

But until solar power can power cars in all weather and for many miles it will be impossible to our dependence on fossil fuels rearrange

Imagine for a moment if we no longer used cars but horse and buggies for humans to transport

Think of all the methane from horse droppings that would be featured in our news reports!
