Dead Poets Society was a great film but
never in this poet’s wildest dreams
Would he
imagine that Robin Williams today has passed from our earthly scene
What an
incredible talent that could make anyone on this planet smile
And then
break into a flood of laughter more powerful than even the flooding of the Nile
What an
incredible talent that we have going forward lost
A subtle
reminder of what addiction and alcoholism costs
The family
has requested the ability to in peace grieve
So we fans
and mortals have only tears on our floors to leave
I have never
been able to ape the comedian’s special touching skill
Only to
admire the way laughter cuts through a way too serious will
Nor have I
ever understood how in making people laugh as opposed to making people cry
Might in
some way, so sad make a great comedian want to die
Robin
Williams I believe there is a God who is waiting for you to arrive
Too many
tombs on chaos in the world for even his sense of humor to survive
Of all others
who have precede you, you with Good Morning
Vietnam are the one
To bring a
sense of laughter to our Father shedding tears at what we humans here have
done.
