Women’s Equality Day—celebrating on this day in 1920 the certification
of the passage of the 19th Amendment finally granting women the
right to vote.

the efforts of the National Dog Day Foundation to save abandoned dogs one dog
at a time. Great effort, great charity!
3. National Toilet Paper Day—celebrating and
honoring one of the necessities of life, toilet paper—imagine life without it—not
