Finland Set to Become a Member of NATO--Putin's Worst Nightmare

 

Finland is set to join NATO despite Putin’s warnings against such a move
Before he starts the saber rattling anew and ignoring the real need for Russian troop performance to improve
With control of the skies and more tanks than a competent force would ever need
Russian advance of Kviv that was supposed to be over in a few weeks, stalled to die and bleed
Better luck in the South but Ukrainians are taking a mighty toll
Russian military cemeteries filling up as Russians are failing in their goals
Putin needs to read about the 1940 Winter War
Where Russian deaths and wounded by the tens of thousands soared
Like the Ukrainians outnumbered by large numbers in tanks and planes
Finns fought heroically an easy war for the Soviets the Finns deigned
Then they fought alone as the Allies could not into Sweden cross
Outnumbered outgunned they had to seek peace before more territory was lost
Now and this has to be Putin’s biggest fears
An invasion runs the risk of NATO arms and men to appear
With the nuclear genie licking its chops
Hoping tactical nukes start to drop
So very hard to keep the nuke strategic forces in the bottle
Which if unleashed a large part of all the world will be throttled
Withdraw from Ukraine and Crimea in exchange for a treaty that would bar Ukraine
From being admitted into NATO as a member an act which Russia has long complained
With a guarantee of Ukraine sovereignty against another Russian invasion
Could well be the end to hostilities needed equation
