In a world
plagued by chaos and bad news a ray of hope
A story of a
soccer team lost in a Thai cave prompting a search of gigantic scope
For ten days
a nation focused on their plight
Searching
the caves and yet they remained out of
sight
Then on the
10th day two divers found the 12 boys and their coach sitting on a
ledge
Escaping rising
waters coming closing to its edge
A nation
relieved in total jubilation
Hard to
describe the parents’ relief and elation
Not out of
the woods yet as doctors need to dive in to examine their condition
Food must be
brought in to built up their strength to bring the rescue to fruition
Hard to
comprehend the fears of being lost in a cave with its waters on the rise
Fading hopes
of rescue and fearing one’s demise
Hopefully a
way out other than scuba will be found
And this
brave soccer team with their coach will emerge above ground
No more
exploration of caves
And the risk
of an early grave
