A new iron
curtain is coming down on social media land
Not made of iron
known only as shadow ban
Twitter’s algorithms
filter out those on the right
Keep their
thoughts and ideas and tweets hidden from sight
Under the
guise of a hate speech label
Swept under
the rug cleared from the ideas table
A person
banned from social media and his or her ideas simply cease to exist
Hidden in
the enveloping shadow banning mist
Free speech
rules must be applied to those on both sides of the political spectrum
Favoring the
right over the left or left over the right is a policy that should never beckon
If one point
of view is banned history should teach
No one is
left with the right of free speech
