TSA Acting Not Fired Only Reassigned

If in the private sector in a company’s major line, a leader had a failure rate of 96 percent
How long do you think it would take to show him the door after confirming where his last paycheck would be sent?
Not months, weeks, or days but more likely on the spot
In the government sector such an effort to fire would go for naught
In the TSA the acting head must have been reading from an incomplete script
The lines in the play of protecting airplanes from terrorists must have been stripped
His actors on the front lines whose job was to bringing aboard guns and bombs check
96 percent of guns and bombs brought aboard by undercover agents, the TSA failed to detect
It would seem all the countless millions for equipment and personnel have gone for naught
If obvious weapons through the TSA sceening process could not be stopped.
Melvin Carraway, an 11 year old TSA veteran who became the acting head in January of this year
Like all government employees when it comes to job security has nothing to fear
No pink slips, no reduction in pay
Only another reassignment to another position at TSA
As a graduate in music Mr. Carraway must know that in government employment the fat lady never sings
Regardless of the skills or lack thereof to his desk the employee is asked to bring.
And the TSA waiting for Vice Admiral Pete Neffenger as its expected permanent head
Its 60,000 employees will by another acting head now be led
