Raft Getting Crowded As Blues Jump Ship

The Obama ship of state at long last is hitting the reality reefs

Of a president elected not because of talent only color whose tenure should have been more brief

His own party turned on him today in his trade bill seeking vote

His legacy ACA, his Supreme Court bashing notwithstanding, may no longer float

A disaster on his term as CinC as radical Islam which he cannot even pronounce

Worse the concept of a War on Radical Islam he continues to renounce

Hooray for us who wanted to believe and  swallowed the bait of hope and change

Eyes maybe from racial guilt ignored the agenda of a nation he wished to rearrange

But shame on us and especially on the Candy Crowleys of the far too liberal press

To reelect an incompetent who if not golfing has watched this nation’s role regress

His party is now from him in a major bail

Like us unable to pick an area where he has not failed

As we head into the 18 months of lame duck status with the ship of duck

Adrift at sea with any feathers of redirection long since plucked

A collective prayer that the forces of Putin, China, and radical Islamic jihad
