After a short USFL and Exhibition season
The NFL on Thursday night showed us the reason
Why the NFL has all the viewer attraction rules
And why on TV air waves like its passes it rules
On a day when the 2nd longest serving monarch passed away
Before the defending champions Rams against the Bills began
to play
A fitting moment of silence in tribute to Queen Elisabeth
who today died
Whose elegance, grace and regal bearing could never be denied
If only our leaders from divisiveness could rise above
To lead to unify and not have to be pushed and shoved
What problems and dangers as Americans could we not solve
If the idea we are all Americans and bipartisanship evolve
