George Will Mr. Irrelevant

 In Newport Beach each year after the NFL draft there is a great event
It honors the last man chosen, known as "Mr. Irrelevant."
Showered with gifts and honored to pursue a dream that most likely has not a chance
A certain sense of the cheering for the true underdog, a Don Quixote with a broken lance
Today in the political arena we see almost the sense of the same
George Will, a conservative "talking head", no longer will bear a Republican name
George Will, here is for you a cold reality news flash
A growing tide of angry voters have thrown Beltway bandits like you into the trash
Good riddance, time for you like Romney to fade away
 So removed from the anger over the far distant elite of the governing Beltway
You are now the political equivalent of Mr. Irrelevant
But sadly making it more likely that to the White House a felon will be sent
Trump may have his warts but on illegal immigration and radical Islam he hits the nail squarely on its head
While Hillary too concerned with personal enrichment is clueless on what we need to pull this country ahead
