$180 for a math textbook probably since 1991 not revised is
highway robbery of the highest sort
Looks less like education and more like a university trying to
extort
The price in 1991 of this holy grail textbook was not revealed
In 2015 dollars $102.60 would have been the 1991 deal
If less at 180 today the math professor author has followed the
siren song of greed
More money into his pockets and less concern over students'
educational and fiscal needs
No wonder we are producing a generation of students crippled by
student debt
Many without jobs and brains filled with useless facts they will
soon forget
Textbooks if not sold back as used destined to gather dust in
their parents’ basement
No wonder a question of money not well spent
Kudos to the professor who was slammed by Cal State for trying
to lower students' costs
Shame on Cal State for its disregard and further shame for the
academic freedom so lost
