When we celebrate the 4th of July
One food at the family is as American as Apple Pie
It’s the hot dog on a bun with condiments like mustard, chopped
onions or relish
But at Coney Island on the 4th an annual contest
to see how many hot dogs contestants can demolish
When it comes to dominating an eating contest when it’s hot
dogs there is only one king
Joey Chestnut who has won the contest 17 times showing how
many hotdogs to his stomach attendants must bring
The holder of the world’s record for hot dogs at 76 in ten
minutes consumed
Causing spectators to wonder how any human being’s stomach
would have that much room
The Chinese with their massive trade surplus balances
Are always on the hunt to their holdings of American food
producing properties advance
Nathan’s Famous was recently acquired by Smithfield owned by
the Chinese
Who plan to continue Nathan’s Famous hot dog eating contest not
branching into Won Tons to their owners displease
