IOC Refuses To Ban 2028 Olympics in L.A.

 

The U.S. Olympic Committee was breathing a sigh of relief
The IOC was being asked to ban the 2028 Olympics in L.A. that would have caused us a world of grief|
The IOC refused the request keeping politics from interfering with sports
The ban would have been a financial disaster to L.A. if the 2068 Summer Olympics were subject to abort
Good chance a few countries in protest may the Summer Olympics Boycott
But given Maduro’s record of smuggling drugs it should be a minor onslaught
Too dollars in construction for the host city to put at risk
The IOC could levy sanctions if a large number of boycotters exist
It is tragic that politics have corrupted sports
Newscasters have strayed from results when they report
