Jill Biden did at the DNC what any loyal wife would be expected to do
To support her husband and his efforts to be president as a valued member of the election crew
She advanced that he would make the nation whole
In the time of great divisiveness a worthy goal
Ignoring the question of how one can accomplish that act
When a whole mental faculty Biden appears to lack
Joe is most likely an honorable and likeable guy
Even if his hands on women went sometimes awry
But this world is becoming a more dangerous place
Where nice guys finish often nowhere near in first place
Jill to her credit made Joe much more human, recounting his pain
With the life of a wife and daughter in an instant in a wreck flushed down the drain
Regardless of being an honorable and likeable guy
His judgment on issues of foreign policy is not something on which we can rely
Gates said it best--Biden has been on the wrong side of every major issue in history
We should be reluctant to give him a second chance when even the simplest thing is a major cognitive mystery
Obama worried sick about his legacy tarnished since 2016 and facing extinction in a Trump reelection
Is reported to have said to Biden before entering “Joe you don’t have to make running a selection”
Given the stress being president does to one’s health, body and mind
So surprised Jill did not consul Biden to leave ideas of a run far behind
Nice speech given by Jill as a loyal wife
Feel for her as she sees campaign and potential Oval Office degeneration strife
