Weekend at Bernies brought viewers a great deal of laughs
Maybe
even surpassing the number over the years from Biden’s gaffes
Suspension
of disbelief as Bernie was portrayed at a party to be still alive
Watching
Biden from his bunker basement where only a teleprompter seems able to him revive
Left
to wonder whether Biden’s mind is totally shot
And
how he has been chosen for the presidency the Blues have sought
The
answer is he is still alive but on cognitive life support
While
handlers desperately try to figure out a way for the debates to abort
Tonight
he’s the nominee and soon Harris will be confirmed on the team
Even
if the DNC arranges a preelection 25th strike
Doubt
if anyone is going to tell Harris to take a hike
Double
down and another black woman picked to fill out the team
Then
onward and upward hoping the virus still the economy reams
And
the recovery of the economy is not picking up steam
A
nightmare for we mortals but to the left fulfillment of a cherished dream.
