around the county will be letting out for summer vacation
Hungry
kids out of school with its federal school lunch donation
Hunger
is the original 24/7 champ
A
child’s dreams to without mercy tramp
If
a card game it would be a casino holding a royal flush
Sapping
the soul, the development of the child’s mind and body to crush
Hunger
is the ultimate robbing Peter to pay Paul
Lacking
calories the child is slammed into the hopeless wall
2nd
Harvest with your help can break the summer cycle of not enough to eat
One
dollar is leveraged into three meals which is how hunger we will beat
Instant
gratification of knowing that you have made a difference, have given a senior
or child a chance
To
on that day and in the coming ones free them from the grip of the empty stomach
gnawing trance
Time
to boot the Hunger Games out of this county for good
Now
we know it exists, do and do it now we must, we should!
