There
is a wave of addiction of opioids that is sweeping this land
With
our open border and the profits to be made, it is completely out of hand
Meth,
heroin and all sorts of potent drug cocktails
Lying
room only in the OC morgues as the cartels expand their sales
In
many a city the morgues have exhausted all corpse storing space
Without
a secure border we seem as a nation unable to this scourge erase
Years
ago the hue and cry was to jail addicts who chose to drug laws defy
To
many black teens and young adults for crack cocaine use were as fathers and
husbands becoming MIA.
Prisons
were becoming crammed sardine cans and federal courts wanted to reduce
overcrowding by reducing their stay
Rehab
not incarceration became the new Holy Grail
The
rehab frauds at least in Orange County stepped in to the program derail
Orange
County has become “Rehab Rivierra” awash in fraud and abuse
Residents
too many times continuing their alcohol and drug use
Operators
like pigs to the trough in a feasting on the taxpayers stampede
A
black mark of those motivated not by profit but to give the addicts the programs
they need
Addiction
is a disease that we cannot ignore and sweep under our NIMBY rugs
We
need to prosecute the fraud element or many more will become users and will die
under this flood of drugs!
