As
the tributes to Carrie Fisher from fans and fellow celebrities pour in
Another
reminder that smoking is almost always guaranteed to put you in a battle you
cannot win
60
years old is way too young for a woman to from a heart attack die
With
genes from a mother still alive at 84 and a father who died from complications
from a broken hip you wonder why.
Her
mother Debbie Reynolds never smoked and is still alive and kicking
Not
facing the cigarette time bomb that even if you quit it remains ticking
If
there is a silver lining in Carrie Fisher’s early death it might be this
Smoke
as she did and there will be thousands of lines of scripts to miss
Along
with more episodes of Star Wars for
the Force to us mere mortals awe and impress
But
even the Jedi cannot for their actors and actresses who smoke, cancer, heart
attacks and strokes suppress
Movie
scenes may last almost forever on the small or big screen
But
not for the thespians who pick up the habit soon to be trapped by clouds of
nicotine.
