You have to hand it to the
battleground state of Live Free or Die
As the candidates wallow in the smearing
mud more fitting of a sty
A sense of humor in that state still exists
While charges of unfitness Blues and
Reds cannot resist
In Ashland, New Hampshire at Owens
Truck Farm Stand
A fitting tribute to the vitriolic
charges raging across this land
No more concerns over the Russians
being able to hack into our election
And with the lack of paper ballots
distort or electronically alter our selections
To ruin the integrity of the results,
to put the validity of the winner in question
Two outhouses have been turned into polling
places
With ballots that are impossible to
alter or erase
Two holes one for Hillary and the
other for Trump
No lever to pull no touch screen to
touch merely lake a dump
So symbolic as more than half of the
voters on each side would like to flush their candidate down the drain
A symbolic end on Election Day that
poets love to mark as a vicious smearing campaign
