October 29, 2016 Ridley's Believe It Or Not World Stroke Day

Ridley’s Believe It Or Not For October 29, 2016 Only 11 waning but increasingly vitriolic and hypocritical days to go until the only polls that matter close; bombshell just dropped by the FBI already under scathing rebuke by Reds for its ”sham” investigation of HRC’s private email server and its refusal to look into the criminal pay to play activities of the Clintons and the Foundation announced it was reopening its investigation due to thousands of emails recovered from the lap top shared by that noted pervert Weiner and Huma Abedin, Hillary’s long time most trusted adviser; Trump raised the national security implications and concerns back in August of 2015 and may have just been proved right; on the sports front the Indians won game three last night 1-0 in Chicago and play this evening in game four in Chicago now leading 2-1.
As Trump is trying to become more presidential, going to www.lyingcrookedhillary.com is a great way to start your day along of course with www.alaskanpoet.blogspot.com and reading Clinton Cash would be a great read to understand the quid pro quo mentality of the Clintons and if you want some music in your life with a little satire-- https://safeshare.tv/x/kXjbXGyQDsE
As always, I hope  you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Christopher Cross,  factoids of interest for this day in history, a relevant quote from Richard Simmons,  while looking forward to  enjoying a bowl of oatmeal, blessed with a positive attitude and secure in the knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like birthdays, weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.

3. 1981 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 1981 on a run of 3 weeks in that position “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)” by Christopher Cross. Here is a recording of him performing the song:
4. National Oatmeal Day--celebrating a truly great way to start one’s day on a cold fall day.
5. Shoplifting Can Put A Damper On One’s Career—celebrating the birth on this day in 1971 of Winona Horowitz better known as Winona Ryder who has appeared in such films as Beatlejuice and Lucas, but had the notoriety of being arrested and convicted for shoplifting $5,000 of jewelry.
On this day in:

Reflections on strokes on World Stroke Day and how to prevent them:  When you're feeling down, sad, lonely, negative, you don't want to take care of yourself - and the weight problem and the diabetic problem and the heart attack and stroke problems and high cholesterol set in.” Richard Simmons, noted and very energetic physical fitness consultant and weight loss advocate.
