Ryan And Pelosi Compromise To Keep Feds Open

On one hand a flicker of hope that Congress can compromise

Instead of both sides of the aisle in full mode the other side to demonize

A temporary funding bill to for Flint its water clean

The spector of a government shutdown until !2/9 now weaned

The iron botox lady over her fellow Blues in complete control

Joining less than half of the Reds to achieve a needed keep the government open goal

When we start to vote in 39 days the feds will still be able to wastefully spend

To keep adding to our national debt in a disturbing trend

Another example of kicking the can down a short distance road

Red or Blue the next president will be straining to our growing challenges unload

As to hopes of further compromise on the presidential campaign, do not hold your breath

Where on the campaign trail you have the likes of a Howard Dean alleging Trump is on meth

A Trump in the Twitter world refusing to move on from Miss Universe

24/7 negative smears has become a way of life, a debilitating curse

She has no positive record to run on, no real plan or ability to jobs create

Hopefully Trump has learned a thing or two, like preparation for the next debate
