Political Party Matters Corrine Brown Poster Child Of Rot

 When it comes to corruption in government the only color is important is green

Matters not whether you are Red, Blue or Indy the need for money you cannot wean

 Rep. Corrine Brown is the new poster child joining the hall of political shame

A glaring example of why Washington does not work and without term limits corruption we will never tame

A Congresswoman of 23 years on the side of the Blue aisle

Living proof that the first inch chink in the armor for integrity leads to corruption taking a mile

Under the guise of charity participating so alleged in a very large fraud

Public service should not be a career where cutting corners to stay in office seems to be the norm allowed

More and more states have term limits to force office holders out

Yet despite the intentions they move on to a different office as lobbyists their ethics try to rout

If a House member could serve only three terms and a Senator only two

No need to always be on the prowl for the mother’s milk that soon curdles into the witches’ brew

She may be guilty, she may be not and she deserves her day in court

But these professional politicians entrenched, above us in their minds means we and our democracy are doomed to come up short.
