         3. 1987 Number One Song—celebrating the number one song in 1987 on a brief run of one week in that position Wild, Wild West by Escape Club. Here is a link to Escape Club to Boston performing Wild, Wild Westhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ES3iNPcPL8
         4.  National Cappuccino Day—celebrating a great way to obtain your caffeine.
         5.  Everyone Can Have 15 Minutes Of But A Good Book Brings A Lifetime Day—celebrating the birthday on this day in 1900 Margaret Mitchell, the Pulitizer Prize winner in 1937 for her iconic work Gone With The Wind,  which sadly was not repeated.
On this day in:
         a. 1923 Adolph Hitler and a small number of his supporters unsuccessfully tried to take over Munich by armed force.
         b. 1933 Franklin Delano Roosevelt unveiled the Civil Works Administration, a program of shovel ready projects to hire 4,000,000 unemployed—too bad Obama did not learn what shovel ready should have meant before instituting his failed stimulus.
         c. 1939 Georg Elsner failed in his attempt to kill Adolph Hitler in Munich celebrating the anniversary of the attempted Munich putsch; too bad as if he had been successful, World War II would have ended far sooner.
         d. 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed legislation to allow the NFL and AFL to merge to the future joy of Super Bowl zealots.
         e. 1972 HBO commenced programming with its first fare being Sometimes A Great Notion, starring Paul Newman and Henry Fonda.
Good observation on optimism even if from a fictional character“I'll think of it tomorrow, at Tara. I can stand it then. Tomorrow, I'll think of some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day.”   Scarlett O’Hara from Margret Mitchell’s Gone With The Wind
