Silver Indicted for Bribery in New York House but Will Not Leave

It almost sounds like a Devane commercial for Rosalind Capital to investments diversify

With silver priced below its production costs now is the time to buy

 But Devane was talking about the silver you have to mine

And then into coins and bars mint and refine

There sadly is a another silver that too many people have wanted to buy

The two legged kind for favors and ill gotten gain to come by

Blue Sheldon Silver who was the Speaker of the New York State House has been indicted for corruption

Though out on bail his lining his pockets for favors now faces a slight interruption

Good while it lasted if the charges are true

He collected over $4 million in bribes and kickbacks since 2002

It is an outrage that an elected official uses the power of his office to line his purse

But in New York it appears it is even far worse

28 legislators in 15 years have stepped down because of issues over ethics or crime

4 including Silver will not leave office but they should really ape the other 28 slime
Silver is not the first nor will he be the last
Too many politicians seduced by power lose their ethical mast
