One
of the secrets to a good marriage is honesty, disclosure and trust
Ere
that shining marital luster of love and devotion quickly turns to rust
An
example from the news and why the “Beta Marriage” among millennials is gaining
traction
Too
often in the U.S. especially the Golden State the bloom wilts too soon into dissatisfaction
In
India there was news with a different marital twist
And
reasons why the “Beta Marriage” idea is hard to resist
Jugal
Kishore at 25 was preparing to garland his 23 year old bride on their wedding
day
When
a sudden epileptic seizure on him held sway
The
bride in a complete "I have been deceived snit,"
Announced
to families and guests “From this marriage I do quit”
Turned
to a guest and asked to marry her on the spot
The
guest may or may not have known the bride but with her he cast his lot
The
poor epileptic rejected groom
Finally
regained consciousness in the wedding room
Only
to find his bride was someone else’s wife
A
brawl ensued with attacks with weapons like a fork, plate or knife
Fortunately,
no one was killed and the rejected groom a lesson learned
Peel
your onion of secrets with a future wife or you will be quickly spurned.
