Last night was a game the Brewers must have wished for a bye
to delay L.A.’s 4 game sweep quest
To have had a bye to have been chugging suds and celebrating
October Fest
Instead of being subject to a never before player event
Not the 6 strong shutout innings with 10 strike outs Ohtani
pitched but the 3 home runs that over the fence went
The baseball gods favoring the Dodgers and Ohtani appeared
in the 1st inning when he hit an historic leadoff home run
And the Dodgers added 2 more as the 4 game sweep had begun
Only 3 players have hit 3 home runs in a championship series
before Ohtani last night
And never a pitcher who pitched in a 3 home run game to bask
in a 3 home run limelight
Have to wonder what the Brewers’ Manager was thinking
As the Brewers’ chances to avoid a sweep were sinking
To not order Ohtani to be intentionally walked
In an attempt more scoring block
