Ridley’s Believe It Or
Not For October 11, 2017 NBC (Nothing But Cack) is being blasted by Trump and
Mattis on fake news of the U.S. increasing its nuclear arsenal by a factor of
ten and by Ronan Farrow, a NBC reporter who broke the Harvey Weinstein news
story that the Nothing But Cack refused to air (disgusting as more and more
women have come forward to allege rape and inappropriate sexual request from the
big time Democratic fund raiser and Hollywood mogul); Al Green the leftist Blue
House member from Texas introduced articles of impeachment against Trump and
then did not call for a vote so the articles expired (feel sorry for the residents
of his district to have such a pathetic ideologue representing them); on the
sexual depravity front, police in Chandler, Arizona have arrested one woman and
are looking for two others who videotaped themselves playing with sex toys in
front of the children at a daycare center (how sick is that?); on the nanny
state front, some sanity has returned to Chicago as the one cent per ounce soda
tax has been repealed due to public outcry; if you are a California wine aficionado
with the fires raging in Northern
California that have killed at least 21 people and are threatening vineyards,
today would be a great day to stock up on wine;
in Chicago through October 10, 2017, the number of people being shot climbed to
2979 and the death toll rising to 514 while the city seems to not be doing
anything to prevent the killing and maiming of its minority residents—a
real definition of racism which is deadly.
As always, I
hope you enjoy today’s holidays and observances, a music link to Exile,
factoids of interest for this day in history, a relevant quote by the birthday
boy Henry J. Heinz on success in the food business, bemoaning some judges who
believe in kritarchy rather than a democracy and secure in the
knowledge that if you want to find a gift for any memorable events like
weddings, or anniversaries, you know that the Alaskanpoet can provide you
with a unique customized poem at a great price tailored to the event
and the recipient. You need only contact me for details.
