Obama
ran on a platform of hope and change which we swallowed hook, line and sinker
Was
white guilt the cause to vote in a man with no experience in leadership and a
leftist thinker?
With
the economy sinking like a stone in the worst recession since the Great
Depression
The
only doubt was not whether Obama would win but rather by how much would be the
question
He
also ran on a platform to unify, this candidate
half black and half white
To
put aside the divisions that were caused by adherence to racial blight
The
idea of unity and compromise for the nation’s good to climb out of this
economic mess
When
the leadership skills of our elected officials were under great stress
Somehow
got lost on the way to the Oval Office, got lost in the teleprompter shuffle
His
vision for unity and transparency was too quickly to be muffled
Members
of Congress who dared to question him saw an egotist whose feathers were too quickly
ruffled
Aided
by Harry Reid always ready not to compromise but rather scuffle
Obama
lived by the regulatory sword and had no time for compromise
Civility
and bipartisanship in Congress went into mortal demise
Now
after 8 years a new sheriff is in town chomping at the bit
To
erase Obama’s legacy across the board as he sees fit
Hold
on to your hats and enjoy the ride
A
job creator who in America has great pride
Ever
since JFK’s first hundred days
A
president must move quickly before bureaucracy and inertia get in the way
President
Trump should be taken at his word that he will be the president for us all
From
the ranchers and farmers on the Southern border anxiously awaiting the
construction of a wall
To
the jobless millions in the inner cities whose education and job potential have
totally stalled
To
the factory workers in our rust belt who have by currency manipulation and NAFTRA
been mauled
To
miners, frackers and drillers who had to against Washington fight a war
While
the number of job killing regulations continue to soar
To
the forgotten deplorables who do not live along the coast
To
the vets and elderly who need our help the most
A
president for all of us regardless of gender, age, race, color or creed
Finally
a builder who will end the nation’s infrastructure from going to seed
For
the 62 Blues who are refusing to the Inauguration even attend
One
can only hope they come to their senses and blatant hostility to President
Trump end.
If
he succeeds, we all succeed and can start climbing out of the massive amount of
debt
If
he fails, we all fail, and we will head down a path of stagnant growth we all
will rue and regret.
