Sanctuary City's Last Gun Shop Closes

In the Sanctuary City of San Francisco where illegal aliens run free
While the wealthy elitist left enjoy their brie and glasses of chilled Chablis
Safe behind their security systems or armed guards
A mere mortal trying to buy a firearm for self protection is now barred
This bluest of all cities has waged a war on gun shops in the City on the Bay
One by one under weight of oppressive regulations they have gone away
Save one, High Bridge Arms, that has been a fixture for many years
While the city fathers stoked the anti gun ownership hysteria fears
A consistent narrative that licensed gun shops and dealers are responsible for the gun violence harm
Completely ignoring the contribution of sanctuary city status and drug dealers and gang members packing firearms
What little privacy we have most of us do not want to lose and to be on video taking possession of heat
A chilling effect on a lawful purchase, knowing it would be handed to the police each week
The felons will always find ways to guns obtain and prohibitions against their use ignore
While the mere mortal law abiding citizens will be helpless opening their home or car door
