Though
not yet married to Kitzhaber, Hayes calls herself Oregon’s first lady

on her consulting deals with Oregon are really appearing shady
One
would never want to inquire about Kitzhaber’s sex life
With
Hayes who presumably as his fiancée will become his wife
The
image of her being paid by a consulting group while whispering advice on energy
issues while whispering to his head
Have
the appearance of great impropriety, especially if the advice was given while
both were in bed.
This
is a woman whose past is not beyond reproach
And
payments to her on the integrity of the governor's office seem to encroach
From
a sham marriage to let an Ethiopian stay
To
not reporting all of her pay
To
having state employees book her flights
This
calls for Oregon's ethics auditors’ and AG's combined investigatory might
It
would hard to believe that the governor will on climate change his fiancée’s wishes
he would ignore
Unless
he would like sleeping in the guest bedroom with her protected by a locked door.
Sadly,
iI has become so common among politicians that our senses are now numbed
Politicians
feel they are above the law and do something which may be illegal but certainly
is dumb
