Ryan Routh’s fist mistake is that he was lying in wait in shrubbery
lining Trump’s West Palm Beach Golf Club for too long a time
Waiting for Trump to get nearer on the fairway so he could
commit his assassination crime
But the barrel of his rifle pierced the shrubbery cover and
by Secret Service near Trump’s cart was seen
Who immediately opened fire before Routh could take a shot
who instead fled the scene
Only to be quickly stopped in his car and arrested to face trial on multiple counts including
murder of a presidential candidate
Since this trial was to be held in Florida as opposed to New York City or D.C.
a guilty verdict was almost for certain would be his fate
His second mistake was to act as his own lawyer in his
defense
Although the OJ Dream team would likely not get an acquittal
his move made no sense
Called only 3 witnesses who did absolutely nothing to
support his case
To no one’s surprise a guilty verdict on all counts found in
2 ½ hours in great haste
Routh is lucky that he is not facing the death penalty for his attempted crime
But a life sentence but not a requirement it be served
without parole so he may be released after serving a long period of time
There is a good chance Routh may die in prison since he is 59
years of age
Either by natural causes or by the hands of cons over his
attempt outraged
After Trump dies the parole board may follow the parole of
Sara Jane Moore 12 months and 5 days after Ford’s demise
Or Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme 2 years, 7 months and 19 days
after his demise which given her involvement with Manson should not surprise
In any event there is a good chance Routh will never see the outside of
his cell as a man free
A lesson to be learned for the growing number leftist intolerant “ends
justify the means” consequences for violence they will see
