There is only one word we should be using to describe the chaos and mess at our open border and that is invasion
Since the day he took office Biden has viewed his obligation to protect the states with total evasion
Everything that Trump had put in place to curb and curtail the illegals invasion flooding surge to a mere drip
Biden halted and erased leaving our Custom and Border Patrol to confront the illegals’ tidal wave ill equipped
Lip service to the problems he created by handing off to Chuckles as the immigration czar
Who was MIA from day one talking about how to determine the root causes so we could illegal immigration bar
When the root causes were in front in clear sight of her face
The open border catch and release and welcome to illegals Biden put in place
Abbot has called out the Texas National Guard to take into custody illegals when they cross
But sadly, not to take them back to the border and back into Mexico toss
But to deliver them only to the Custom and Border Patrol Agents at entry ports
What those overwhelmed agents will do is anyone’s guess but you can take it to the bank they will not seek to deport
Abbot needs to take quickly the next step and declare or have the legislature enact a resolution to declare
That the state is being invaded by illegals and its safety from the drugs, traffickers, and terrorists and the overwhelming its safety net is impaired
Just because the wave is not another nation’s army it looks like, acts like and for the people in Texas like an invasion feels
Under Article 4, Section 4 the federal government must protect the states from invasion caused by a border not sealed
Under Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 a state without Congress’ approval may engage “in War if actually invaded”
