Lower SALT Less Spending

For humans with high blood pressure the recommended dose is to lower one’s salt

For Blue coast governors lowering spending is always a no-no, a major fault

The economy may be taking off but in the high tax Blue states hit by limits on SALT

The Blues assault on taxpayers pocket books trying to exalt

Fearful of climate change

And  income redistribution to rearrange

Oregon and Washington raising taxes on carbon to more money extract

Watch the income earners leave as the economy continues to retract

Never again to look forward into a field of dreams

Only worn down like salmon trying so hard to jump forward into the spawning streams

Floating backwards toward the ocean’s incoming waves

And the bears on the shore with claws trying to send the struggling salmon into an early grave
