The Second Civil War

The first Civil War was fought over the issue of the right of certain states to allow slaves

A slow march to that morning at Fort Sumter when canon roared in and thousands of young men went later to an early grave.

How could we ever have  supported a belief that humans regardless of color were mere chattel

Destined along with their children to so remain forever to be bought and sold like cattle

Condemning a whole region of the county to the economic swamp of agriculture instead of industry

Generation after generation of resentful blacks wanting to be set free

Powder kegs of revolt waiting only for a match to a revolution ignite

While whites in the North agonized that what we were doing in no way was right

We are facing a new Civil War with stakes just as high

A war in which the idea of borders the left wishes to deny

In 1860 the country was divided on free and slave lines

Today it is divided along amnesty for illegals or not designs

California with Governor Moonbeam reincarnated and a Blue majority in both houses of State

Now has pushed through legislation that makes us a Sanctuary State

Like the Nullification Crisis almost 200 years ago

California has thumbed its nose at the feds and told ICE to in the state not show

Unlike the First Civil War where abolitionists were driven by a moral belief that slavery was wrong

The left under the mantra of no borders and amnesty is driven by the belief that illegals will joining the Blue voting throng

Immigration is first and foremost a matter of law to be determined and enforced by the feds

Not by a bunch of leftist Blues in Sacramento who want open borders instead

In the coming Second Civil War no cannon shots will be fired

No nationalization of the California National Guard to add in deportations will be desired

The cannons will be the defunding of states like California of federal grants that will cease

Along with the jailing of state officials like Brown who refuse to detain when illegals are about to be released

California has unfunded liabilities to the nth degree

Lines of businesses and  high income individuals leaving the state as long as the eye can see

Turning illegals into voters with the alchemy of the amnesty pen

Justified in the eyes of the left as they believe they will never have to put up with a Red president again

Our United States have become the Divided States and thanks to Moonbeam the divide is getting worse
