Eagles Versus Drones

American pilots joined the Eagle Squadrons during the Battle of Britain in large flocks
To with the outnumbered Brits soar into the skies to try to the German bombers block
Coming with guns blazing out of the Sun
Dodging the German fighters to knock down the bombers on their bombing runs
So fitting for our national symbol the bald eagle the pilots adorned
To attack the forces of evil and the peace they had scorned
Today other Eagle Squadrons still fly not over Britain but the skies of Holland and France
To insure that the forces terror and tyranny in Europe do not advance
But here instead of Spitfires and Hurricanes propelled by spinning props
These Eagle pilots are not bald and use talons to explosive carrying drones seek to stop
Real Golden Eagles with Kevlar vests and talons to attack any suspicious drones
That appear to be headed into the airspace above a prohibited zone
Speeds of 50 miles an hour with eyesight accurate to a mile away
A feathered agile  drone killing machine on display
The French have named their Eagle Squadrons after the Four Musketeers
Confident that after 8 months of training from the skies any terrorist drone they will clear
Radical Islam may have declared war on our civilized way of life
But at least we have the eagles on our side in this existential strife
