Banning Leftist Mainstream Media Bad Idea

These are the times that try a poet’s soul

Just when the Trump agenda is gaining momentum and on a roll

Promising at CPAC the wall will be built ahead of time

Focusing on the removal of illegals guilty of crimes

Markets continuing to soar to new highs like a rocket

More than $2 trillion of wealth have been added to Americans’ pockets

Repeal and replace Obamacare coming down the tracks

New sheriff at EPA to job killing regulations sack

The DNC on life support and from the center continuing to flee

Hope and optimism that the economic growth will be running free

Spicer bans from a White House gaggle brief

CPR to the DNC and Blues that will turn into for the Reds grief

One of the main things that make this country unique is its free press

God help us if a government ever is successful in being able to suppress

The mainstream media may be a shadow of its former objective journalism mode

Advocacy journalism to distort, deceive and heaps of “fake news” to unload

But trying to curtail access is something this poet cannot and will not support

A path of action President Trump immediately needs to abort

Ere he will snatch from the jaws of victory a crushing defeat

Enabling the Blues to recover and start refilling Senate and House seats.
