The sounds now move to the media, university, and federal halls
There is an erosion of freedom of thought
Barely unseen but on campuses and the media a deadly rot
We as mere mortals should with great appreciation exclaim
When a fellow human as a sometime rabid blue proclaims
Perhaps the left might be on a crusade to curtail
Free discussion of ideas and the danger that push entails
Kristen Powers is a lady of incredible integrity of beliefs and power
Only one who often gets the joy or pain of facing the bolts from O’Reilly’s tower
This leaning Red values intellect more than any rabid closed mind
After the first few pages in Powers’ book you would want to read more unless you were blind
