The mission statement of the YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through
programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
From gyms and athletic programs to shared rooms for travelers
their accomplishments should make their donors, employees and volunteers stand proud
and tall
But the idea of Christian principles seems to have strayed
With athletic programs having pro transgender rights now displayed
This nation is in the midst of an argument that would
cripple all the advances made by Title IX
Allowing transgenders born male claiming to be women are now
in sports as women defined
Ignoring the reality that men have more muscle and larger bones,
lungs and hearts
That opposed to women, more strength, more endurance and higher speed to impart
After puberty gender affirming hormones still don’t even the
playing field
So trumping biology for the sake of equality means women
wanting to win must yield
What female athlete is going to sacrifice social and
educational time to be an athlete
When the time comes to race, jump, swim or toss against a transgender is doomed
to suffer defeat
By a transgender who before competing as a male
Would rarely win and usually fail?
YMCA stands for Young Men’s Christian Association but the “C”
is misnamed
At a Y in Springfield the “C” means “Censorship” which
merits blame
A teenage girl on the swim team about transgenders in the locker room
undressing complained
The reaction of their Christian principles at the Y was to call her complaint “hate
speech” and on the team could not remain
Claimed under Illinois law could not require transgenders to
use private rooms or from female locker rooms be barred
If that really is the case the law in Illinois must be
changed its need for false inclusion has gone too far
On the issue of bathrooms and locker rooms the Illinois Caesar is off base
Christianity has never sought to the biological difference
between men and women erase.
