CV World Cases: The
CV pandemic across the planet continues with 353,572 new
cases (a .99% increase compared to a .97% increase yesterday) to
bring the total nearing 36 million to 35,938,212, 7,870,814
of which are active, 28,067,398 of which have been
closed with 26,728,561 recoveries (96.25% compared to yesterday’s
96.24%) and 1,051,743 deaths (3.75% compared to yesterday’s 3.76%) to
continue the trend of increased recovery percentages and decreased mortality
percentages.

USA Cases: New cases of 88,059 with total cases over 7 million at 7,613,291 (a
1.16% increase compared to yesterday’s .52% increase) with 2,567,511
active cases of which 14,302, on a downward trend with slight blips from a high
of 19,155 on July 23 (14,176 yesterday and 15,881 on September 1),
are in serious or critical condition as trend continues to go down, and 5,133,831
closures, 215,408 of which have been deaths (4.20% compared to yesterday’s
4.23%) and 4,864,808 of which have been recoveries (95.80% compared
to yesterday’s 95.77%) (our death rate percentages continue to improve and are
finally in single digits since Cuomo repealed on May 10 his order sending
CV positive patients to nursing homes and ADL facilities and on a deaths per
million population measurement at 650 ranks behind Peru (989), Belgium (869), Spain
(695), Bolivia (694), Brazil (692), Chile (682), and Ecuador (661), and
only slightly worse than Mexico (633), UK (624), (633, Italy (596), and Sweden
(582) that never closed its economy down like we did and we have now conducted
112,867,378 tests (now at 340,459/M compared to Russia at 331,193/M so Trump is
telling truth that we conduct more tests in number and on a per capital basis
for nations (but excluding nations with small populations like Denmark, Israel and Singapore) but for the U.K. at 384,628/M).
Non CV Case
News: The good news is that President Trump has returned to the White House to
the dismay of the MSM that on a balcony with no one present as MSM is beside
itself calling the video of his removing his mask as Trump’s “Mussolini Moment”
( Mussolini and his mistress were executed after being captured and dumped in a village square
where the bodies were hung up by their heels, beaten and shot at until later
cut down—hope that is not what MSM hopes is in store for him and Melania);
newly released documents show what many of us expected—Obama was briefed by
Brennan on the plan of Clinton campaign to create narrative that the Russians had
conspired with Trump to deflect attention to her trove of emails on her private
server (wonder how involved Biden was in the effort to discredit Trump); noted
rock singer and guitarist Eddie Van Halen and smoker since age 12 has just died
of throat cancer at age 65; the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other senior Pentagon
leaders have gone into quarantine after meeting with Coast Guard Admiral
Charles Ray who experienced symptoms on the weekend and tested positive this
Monday (let’s all hope our top brass in quarantine are in full viral communications
with each other and our adversaries around the world are aware of that fact);
Hawaii is serious about its anti-CV measures as the police cited Jerome Adams
the U.S. Surgeon General who was in Hawaii to assist in a spike of CV cases for
taking pictures in a park closed to prevent gatherings to halt the spread
(finally although a bit over the top a jurisdiction that does not accede to the
do as I say not as I do mantra of the elite); Blue lawmaker Attica Scott has
had her felony rioting charges against her dropped but still faces misdemeanor
charges in conjunction with a protest/riot that occurred protesting the lack of
charges against the 3 officers that killed Breonna Taylor; BLM protest morphing
into riots and Biden’s pro gun control plans have gun purchases going through
the roof with 5 million purchases for the first time in a year not yet finished
(probably also influenced by the reality of what happens when you defund the
police).
Chicago/Baltimore Gun Violence: In Chicago as of October 5, 2020, the number of shootings increased to 3,271
of whom 563 have died (total travesty of BLM when blacks are shot and
killed by blacks in droves and only sounds of silence and complete absence of
any protests in front of City Hall demanding action to curb the killings and
shootings); Baltimore with a fraction of Chicago’s population and hoping
against all hopes that 2020 will not be a record in terms of deaths but now
seems to be shooting less and killing less and is now 308 behind Chicago at 255
murders (when will Chicago and Baltimore get serious about this carnage or is
this the case of true racism as a Blue run city turns a deaf ear and a blind
eye to the slaughter of people of color by people of color and when will the
left focus on the problem of color on color shootings in Blue run cities which have been
way more deadly and way more numerous than shootings by police or by random mass shootings which occur much
less.

German-American Day—commemorating the founding of Germantown on this day in 1683
which became the first settlement to petition the English to abolish slavery
and proclaimed by President Reagan on October 6, 1983 to honor the
contributions of German-Americans such a Dwight Eisenhower to our culture and
history.

Lovers Day—celebrating this relative of the onion family
that has been used for centuries and has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and
antiviral properties in addition to being a great seasoning, may lower blood
pressure and may keep people you do not want to talk to at a distance; I am
clueless why it is not celebrated on one of the same 3 days of the Gilroy
Garlic Festival in July of each year.
3. 1980 Number One Song— the
number 1 song in 1980 on a run of 3 weeks was “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen
in their 2nd first number 1 song for that year joining 5 other acts

strong but without Freddie Mercury who died in 1991 from AIDS and bassist John
Deacon who retired in 1997.
4. Word
of the Day—today’s word of the day is “pleonetic” which
means greedy or covetous which describes politicians to a tee when it comes to
power to a tee.
5. Tough
Prior Game?—celebrating the birth on this day in 1979 of
David Tomasso a professional French soccer player who played for FC Utrecht and
was voted by the fans in 2004 as club player of the year. His last game was a
1-0 victory over the team’s main rival Ajax Amsterdam on November 27, 2005
which was followed by his death during his sleep from cardiac arrest on
November 29,2005.
On this day in:
a. 1884 the U.S. Naval War College opened its
doors in Newport, Rhode Island for its first 9 students en route to becoming a
strategic and tactical learning center for flag officers in naval operations.
b. 1927 The Jazz Singer, the first “talkie”
starring Al Jolson, premiered at Warner Brother’s flagship theater in New York
City.
c. 1973 Egyptian and Syrian forces attacked Israel
to start the Yom Kippur War which after some initial success in crossing the
Nile in force resulted in an Israeli victory.
d. 1981
Egyptian President Anwar Sadat while viewing a military parade commemorating
the Yom Kippur War was assassinated by Islamic extremists dressed as soldiers
in the parade outraged over his peace treaty with Israel.
e. 2010 Instagram was founded.
Reflections on the assassination of Anwar
Sadat: “This was not the only point, this point
[the peace deal], preceded [the assassination] by two years. He made that deal
and no one killed him or planned to. The decision [to kill Sadat] was based on
a number of factors together. The first issue was the issue of sharia [Islamic
law], that he was standing against sharia, against its implementation and
application. This was the primary reason that this regime must be removed. The
second issue was that [Sadat] broke into the people’s rights with the idea of
tyranny. He dissolved the people’s assembly [parliament] that had a few
opposition figures – not more than could be counted on the fingers of one hand
– he removed them because they opposed the peace agreement and it’s everyone’s
right to have a point of view... But he was a tyrant, and he dissolved and he
cheated and he made his party the one in control and running everything. The
third issue is that Egypt reached such levels of tyranny that he attacked the
Islamic movements. We were confronted aggressively,” Aboud El-Zomor, an
Egyptian Army officer and one of the masterminds behind the assassination of
Sadat after being released from prison in 2011 after being convicted and
sentenced to life and who regrets that the death of Sadat resulted in the
dictatorial rule of Mubarik.
