Tone Down the Rhetoric in Swamp Town

Finally the rabid rhetoric needs to come to an end

A shooting spree in the Swamp a really disturbing trend

Another deranged leftist a Sanders campaign volunteer

Anti Trump rants a sense of killing violence to adhere

In the left it has now become open season

Killing fields against the right without reason

It is time for the left to cease and desist

Their hatred for Trump to finally resist

This is a nation that is supposed to be a nation of free speech and respect for the law

Where shutting down the points of your opponent or killing him should be a fatal character flaw

We may have some social media posts and rants

To try to determine what moved the shooter to go beyond his leftist slant

What motivated his deadly attempt to kill anyone who was Red?

We may never know what sick thoughts infected his head

But this poet’s guess is that when Julius Caesar Trump is executed on stage

Or when Kathy Griffin holds a severed Trump head in rage

And a pathetic Madonna wants to blow up the White House

Finally from the political rhetoric it is time to from it rouse

No one is without blame

Both sides should be some blame

In this day of mourning nothing could be grander

Than the indignation over the crime of his volunteer by Bernie Sanders
