On the 81st Anniversary of D-Day with Only Some 66,000 WWII Vets Still Alive, We Must Never Forget Their Sacrifices and Accomplishments

 Of the 5 beaches on D-Day Omaha received the short end of the stick
From the casualties the Germans from their 88's and M42 Buzz Saws in their pillboxes above would inflict
The bombers that were supposed to crater the beach and destroy the pillboxes overlooking the landings dropped their bombs too far inland in the fields
Leaving the assaulting infantry no cover but achieving a massive number of dead cows as their bombing yield
While the salvoes of rockets fired from the Higgins' landing craft landed in the surf
Far short of where the explosions were needed on the pillboxes and the beach's sandy turf
To many of the amphibious tanks what were land and provide fire support
Sank to the bottom in rough seas from the sandy beach far too short
13 destroyers finally bravely risked running aground neared the landing sites and at the pill boxes blazed away
The Germans soon exhausted ammunition and with allied air power blocking resupply of men and ammo were forced to retreat to try to fight again another day

Missing is the reality, “The sea will be red with Jewish blood of those who refused to flee”
October 7 proved with gruesome and bloody clarity
As long as Hamas or its cousins rule another Holocaust in Palestine will be a reality
What should be troubling most Americans is the conflation of sanctuary cities with antisemitism which becomes more violent every day
On too many universities “free Palestine” justifies the harassment and assaults of Jewish students which finally facing  federal curtailment of funds have taken small steps to allay
In Sanctuary City, Boulder, Colorado Mohamed Sabry Soliman an illegal migrants from Egypt admitted under the Biden Administration who his visa overstayed
Armed with Molotov Cocktails and a homemade flamethrower a Pro-Israel group protesting Hamas’ holding and treatment of Israeli hostages he tried to slay
Burned eight after shouting “Free Palestine” before surrendering to cops who quickly arrived and took him away
Another violent antisemitic attack which by the grace of God innocents did not kill
He will be charged with a terrorist attack
Even if Boulder has a Soros leftist backed D.A. from the federal Assistant AG expect he will receive no slack

Ukrainian Air Forces Attack 5 Russian Air Bases in Russia Destroying Over 50 Airplanes

 

A short tale of different ways to fight a war
That should make civilized people’s blood pressure soar
Putin’s armed forces hiding behind a euphemism of a military operation, crossed the border with tanks and mechanized forces on land and drones, rockets and planes in the air
Europe and the U.S. hobbled by a dementia infected Biden created another feckless line in the sand with feeble sanctions accepting that in the streets of Kyiv Russian forces would soon be there
But the outnumbered Ukrainian Army and air forces after a few hundred miles stopped them in their tracks
Despite not having weapons or having them but not permitted to strike into Russia sending more and more full military coffins to their families back
Putin never one to be hampered by civilized rules of warfare
Filled Ukrainian air space with drones and rockets not targeting military targets but defenseless citizens living there
The news today may mean that NATO has enough of the Putin the Civilian Butcher’s killing spree

Ukrainian drones crossing the border in trucks were launched against 5 Russian airbases destroying over 50 planes that Ukrainians jumping for joy would see
Russian troops are dying not to save Mother Russia from the brutal Nazi scourge
But to conquer fellow Slavs that Putin in his dream to recreate the Soviet Union wants to from their lands purge
The world hopes the casualty lessons that drove the Soviets from Afghanistan to finally flee
Should be infecting the Russian troops who by growing numbers want to end this war and return to homes and safety
