The idea of 3 days in Chicago without a shooting death was
too farfetched
With all the gangbangers packing heat zero gun deaths would
be an impossible stretch
So to no one’s surprise September to date shootings rose to
150 from yesterday’s 148
And in a very rare case of marksmanship 2 out of 2 victims
met their deadly fate
Residents always fearing for their lives when on the street,
in a car, or enjoying a night on the town
Have to be hoping this was a fluke and though the shootings
will go up the death rate percentage will go down
If the shooter is right behind you a few feet away a victim has almost no
survival chance
But if from a moving car or from distance and you are
wearing Kevlar and carrying an opened Kevlar umbrella your survival percentages
advance
In Illinois only non felon adults may purchase but since many of the victims
are teens
One would hope they could be wearing at likely shooting scenes
A French company makes a bullet proof umbrella that a bullet
from a .44 magnum will stop
Not sure if it is
sold in the U.S. but if it were the number of shooting deaths would drop
Rather than this Sanctuary City spending millions of illegal
aliens’ aid
Would be better if spent for residents’ bullet proof wear
and umbrellas to deaths from gunshots evade
